Erik’s career in civil engineering began with a deep interest in design technology and hands-on fieldwork. He started using AutoCAD in 2016, which led him to an early role as an inspector for NYSDOT, where he supervised and documented work on a five-location mill-and-pave project. That position provided valuable exposure to on-site construction coordination, plan interpretation, and daily reporting. He later transitioned into civil design, contributing to over 20 projects across New York City’s five boroughs and working with agencies such as NYSDOT, NYCDDC, NYCDOT, and NYS Parks on infrastructure efforts totaling more than $60 million in estimated value.

In his current role, Erik focuses on residential civil design, applying his AutoCAD expertise to stormwater management, septic systems, and site development. He works closely with clients to ensure designs meet regulatory standards while supporting project goals. With a growing focus on project management and communication, Erik continues to build strong relationships and deliver thoughtful, efficient solutions across a wide range of site conditions and jurisdictions.
