Nico’s career in civil engineering has been shaped by a strong foundation in commercial site design and land development throughout the New York metropolitan area. Early in his career, he contributed to a wide range of commercial and industrial projects, working closely with municipalities and regulatory agencies including SCDHS, SCDPW, NCHD, NCDPW, and NYS/NYC DOT. This experience provided him with a comprehensive understanding of site planning, permitting, and infrastructure design across multiple jurisdictions. Over time, Nico developed expertise in grading and drainage design, stormwater management, and septic and sanitary systems, while also taking on increasing responsibility for project coordination and management through all phases of design and construction.

At DiLandro Andrews Engineering, Nico applies this broad technical background to high-end residential projects, supporting site development, utility design, and permitting efforts. He works closely with homeowners, architects, consultants, and local agencies to develop practical, well-coordinated solutions that balance project objectives with regulatory requirements.
