Sean Buchner, PE

Lead Structural Engineer

DSC_0500

Sean practices both structural and mechanical design engineering. He excels with both inter-office collaboration and client coordination. Sean works directly on projects as a design engineer and his other responsibilities, as the lead structural engineer, include collaborating and directing other engineers on projects.

Sean has worked on projects with varying concentrations including structural framing, deep foundation design, soil retaining walls, marina bulkheads, and coastal stone revetments.

The level of complexity in high end residential projects has developed Sean’s ability to digest design intent, coordinate with clients during the design phase, and deliver a set of plans that achieves the client’s vision.

Sean’s ability to design both the structural and mechanical systems on a given project allows for seamless transition through the overall project’s design life. This also gives him the ability to find solutions, that work for both engineering disciplines, without interfering with the architectural design intent.
